Background

The only daughter of a cousin of the Duke Kincaid Sorcha was the last of three children. She is a shy and quiet young woman but despite her reserve attracts trouble of all kinds. Recently after a bit of a would-be-scandal her family sent her off to Darfield Castle.

Sorcha was the youngest of three children for Keven Kincaid and Bria Ruxton. Keven was a cousin of the Duke Kincaid. His first two children were sons and his only daughter Sorcha was a quiet, shy and somewhat trouble prone child. It was believed by her family that if there was trouble to be found for miles then Sorcha would find it one way or another. This was mostly unintentional and Sorcha did not actively seek out trouble most of the time but it seemed the golden haired child had a terrible case of bad luck.

She was always stumbling and falling and was perpetually clumsy. Horses loved her until she tried to ride them then she would promptly be tossed off if she didn't fall first. She could not dance but she was a marvel at playing the harp and excelled at more intellectual lessons like history, philosophy and mathmatics. As the youngest of three children with the other two being brothers she was very well protected and cared for. She wasn't spoiled but she did enjoy a fairly carefree childhood.

As she grew her knack for finding trouble grew with her and finnaly after an incident with a group of sellswords that would have cuased a scandal if Sorcha's gaurds and maid had not been present she was sent to Darfield Castle to the court in hopes that she would be better protected and that her mother could rest without so much worry. The rumors around the would-be scandal say the brutes where drunk and trying to assualt her and got into an all out fight with her guards. Apparently her maid snuck her away in the choas that followed and while her father was furious he didn't want to punish her to harshly as it really wasn't her fault. Her mother however insisted it was time for her daughter to make an apperance at court and so off she was sent with the whole family praying to the eight that she would not get into any more trouble of that sort again.

Physical Features

A short young woman who barely reaches five feet in height. Where it can be seen her skin is fair and unblemished. Hair of a golden sunny blonde falls in loose waves down her shoulders and back. Arched golden brows sit above large almond shaped eyes of bright blue. Those icy eyes are framed by thick golden lashes and seem to take in everything around her with a shy and timid expression. Her features are soft and feminine with high cheekbones and a sharply angled jaw. Her lips are full and often pursed into a thoughtful look. Her neck is long and slender leading down to a small yet curvy body.

Shy and often quiet she is very intelligent but lacks world experience. Somewhat naive she takes people at thier word and trusts easily. She is very clumsy and often trips and falls. While she lacks cordination she is quite skilled in music and more intellectual pursuits. Also some would say she is cursed with purpetual bad luck bad things and trouble often seem to find her no matter how she tries to avoid them.
