Background
Gaela Rascalin was born in Greenshire, her father a local tavern owner, and her mother a Kundari woman who had left the desert for greener pastures. When Gaela was five, she started training to become a servant of the court. When she was old enough (12), she left with Count Haravean for Darfield on one of his trips, and she stayed. Gaela became the chamber-maid and companion to Princess Caillin Kilgour. She was trained and taught to serve the Princess in all that she may need. The two have become inseparable, and Caillin views her not as a servant, but a close friend.
